Overview
This artifact is a Returning Resident Assistant evaluation that I completed as part of my supervisory work in Residential Life. It reflects my approach to performance evaluation as a structured, developmental, and professional process.
My Role
I completed this evaluation by assessing staff performance across multiple areas, including communication, teamwork, crisis response, community building, and administrative responsibilities. I also provided written feedback and identified next steps for growth.
What This Demonstrates
This artifact demonstrates my ability to assess performance clearly and use evaluation as a tool for learning and development. I do not view evaluations as simply checking boxes or documenting performance. Instead, I use them to recognize strengths, identify areas for growth, and support student staff in becoming more effective leaders. This artifact reflects my commitment to balancing accountability with encouragement and shows how I use assessment to guide development in a way that is fair, specific, and actionable.
