Overview
This artifact is a send-off card signed by residents of Stanford University Junipero Hall and the Summer Resident Assistants at the end of my time with Stanford Summer Session. I included it because it offers qualitative evidence of the relationships I built and the impact I had within that residential community.
My Role
During my time at Stanford Summer Session, I supported residents, supervised student staff, and contributed to the day-to-day life of the hall through relationship-building, leadership, and student support.
What This Demonstrates
This artifact demonstrates the relational side of my work in student affairs. Although it is not a formal assessment document, it reflects how students and staff experienced my presence and leadership. The messages of appreciation and encouragement show that I built trust, fostered connection, and contributed positively to the community. This artifact is important because it makes visible an aspect of student affairs work that is often harder to measure: whether students and staff feel seen, supported, and valued.
