Union Street Center Staff Meeting Agenda

Artifact file

Overview

This artifact is a staff meeting agenda I created for Union Street Center. It reflects how I approach leadership through structure, communication, and team development. I designed the agenda not only to share updates, but also to create a space where Resident Assistants could build connection, reflect together, and stay aligned with community expectations.

My Role

I created and facilitated this agenda as part of my supervisory work with student staff in Residential Life. I intentionally included both operational and developmental elements to make meetings more engaging and purposeful.

What This Demonstrates

This artifact demonstrates my ability to organize staff communication in a way that supports both accountability and team cohesion. One intentional example is the inclusion of the “Rose, Thorn, Bud” activity, which encouraged reflection, participation, and connection among staff members. By balancing administrative updates with community-building elements, I helped create meetings that were more interactive and meaningful. Over time, this approach supported stronger staff engagement and made it easier for team members to contribute to discussion, ask questions, and remain invested in shared goals.
