Promising Practices: International Student Career Readiness Program Presentation

Artifact file

Overview

This artifact is a group presentation proposing an International Student Career Readiness Program at Indiana University. I included it because it demonstrates my ability to identify a gap in student support, design a targeted response, and think intentionally about equitable practice in higher education.

My Role

I co-developed the presentation and contributed to the design of a program intended to better support international students in the United States job application and interview process.

What This Demonstrates

This artifact demonstrates my ability to move from identifying a problem to imagining a practical and sustainable response. The presentation defines a target audience, outlines program components, proposes campus partnerships, and includes budget and assessment considerations. It reflects my interest in supporting international students and my belief that student affairs professionals should actively respond to inequities in the student experience. This project also shows that I can think across advocacy, program design, collaboration, and evaluation when addressing the needs of a specific student population.
