Higher Education & Student Affairs
Abdul Gaffar Haadi
I am an M.S.Ed. candidate in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Indiana University Bloomington, expected to graduate in May 2026. My work is rooted in Residence Life, student support, and leadership development. As Assistant Coordinator for Center Management at Union Street Center, I support residential communities, supervise and mentor student staff, and contribute to environments where students can grow, belong, and succeed. My professional experiences across Indiana University, Stanford Summer Session, and Ghana have shaped my commitment to student-centered practice, reflection, and inclusive leadership.
I am especially interested in how student affairs professionals create environments where students feel challenged, supported, and genuinely connected to their communities.
Short portfolio overview This e-portfolio highlights my development as a student affairs professional through philosophy, competency reflections, evidence of practice, and selected artifacts. Together, these pages show how I connect theory to practice, approach leadership and supervision, and continue to grow through residential life, advising, and student support work.
